JH Needs a Great Bagel Shop

Just discovered the terrific Brooklyn Bagel and Coffee Company shops (two of them) in Astoria and was thinking this mini-chain should open somewhere on 37th Ave in Jackson Heights. M&V bagels are no better than Wonder Bread. Any ideas on how to entice Brooklyn Bagel and Coffee to JH?

wow, i'd use the 'wonder' comparison for brooklyn bagel. don't adore M & V, but find them much preferable to BBC....different strokes, i guess. i recall liking a place in the high 80s and northern -- near the KFC (sorry for all the acronyms) but that is a hike.

See if you can convince the owners of Espress 77 to carry Brooklyn Bagel's. I haven't been to Espresso 77 in a long while but I do remember they had bagels and I think from M&V. Would I pay a lot extra for a Brooklyn Bagel.......absolutely. It's a lot easier walking a block to Espresso 77 then traveling to Astoria. The public will pay extra for quality. Plus Expresso 77 could use the Bagel's to make sandwiches like they do at Brooklyn Bagel.

I like the bagels at cannelle. They are not typical NY bagels, but I still like them a lot. they have these crisp bubbles on the outside which give it an extra smack. last 2 times I went they had smoked salmon and cream cheese for 3 dollars. I'm in.
