I'm travelling to Key Largo for the weekend from NYC and I'm looking for some restaurant recommendations. I like all cuisines and I think I'd prefer more casual atmosphere, though one nice dinner would work if there's something great. Also happy to travel a bit (say to Islamorada)

Looking around the boards, I cam across a bunch of names, but no much detail. I'd appreciate some help narrowing down the list and adding some flavor to just the list of names.

Lunch:
Mrs. Mac's
Denny's Cafe

Dinner:
Alabama Jacks
The Fish House
Chef Lupe's Mandalay

Didn't say (recommendation for which meal to go would also be appreciated):
Green Turtle
Snapper's
Island Grill
Hog Heaven
Gilbert's

Thanks!

I have been to the Fish House maybe 7 or 8 times in the last 9-10 years and I really enjoy it. I highly recommend going the route of choosing a fish and then a preparation. The Matacumba and the Blackend Bleu are damn good. They also have a nice little fish market. Try to eat in the main restaurant dining room, the other is a mixed bag of sushi etc.

My favorite restaurant in the Keys is Bentley's in Islamorada, that is where I would go. I went to Alabama Jack's last year and was disappointed in the food. I haven't been to the Green Turtle in 2 years, but I didn't like it either.

Thanks for everyone's help and suggestions. Plans changed a little, so I landed up doing lunch at Mrs. Mac's and dinners at The Fish House and Sharky's.

Mrs. Mac's - Sat at the counter and had a delicious grilled hogfish sandwich. Perfectly cooked and the seasoning / marinade was good as well. Was pretty full, but decided I couldn't leave Key Largo without having key lime pie, so added that on at the end as well.

Fish House - bobinnola, thanks for the tip. Had the grouper "Matacumba" and loved it.

Sharky's - Really more a dive bar than a restaurant, but it was exactly what I was lookiing for at the time. Still, wasn't expecting much from the food. Ordered their fish fry, which is all you can eat fried mahi mahi with sides of fries, cole slaw, and corn on the cob. Not the best ever, but the fish was fresh tasting and not dried out at all, and it was a great bargain. Plus, the happy hour drink specials were great. Overall, was very happy, and not just because of the beers.
