Good morning chowhounders- My wife and I are treating a good friend of our to brunch this weekend. We are on a budget however and this girl Loves to drink. We could easily end up paying for 4-5 $10/12 dollar cocktail drinks (ie-bloody mary) along with a $15 entree=$65- JUST FOR HER! This is waaay out of our budget. And so, were hoping to find a nice brunch place, any neighborhood, good american (possibly eclectic) cuisine with DRINKS INCLUDED. Thanks.

I had brunch at Calle Ocho (Columbus btw. 81-82 Sts.) a while back and it had all you can drink sangira included. As I recall it was reasonable and good, if a bit crowded and noisy.

Calle Ocho but only on Sunday. Most entrees are under $15 and all you can drink sangria is included. Try to get a reservation now! if not, show up a little before noon to grab a table at the bar area. In comparison to all the AYCD brunch places, I find it the least of a headache to get a table.

Looking into my crystal ball i envision lots of hounds recommending Essex and before they do i'll throw in my $0.02 and say skip it. yes, they offer all you can drink mimosas and bloody mary but a.) the food isn't very good b.) the service is AWFUL c.) they rush you out so you don't even really get to take advantage of the all you can drink. i've been to essex probably 6 times (although it's been about 2 years) and have never had a positive experience

Oh god the food at Essex is just terrible. I wouldn't recommend it cause in my mind, it doesn't fall into the "still delicious" criteria above.

The Sunburnt Cow is a GIANT step up. HOWEVER, it is a NIGHTMARE to get a table. You'll have to get there really early.

Another place to consider is Tre. In east village. They have all you can drink as well. I haven't been but my friends enjoyed it.
