Hello All:

Just trying to get some ideas on ordering a vegan Tday dinner for 3 people.
I'm sure I can order something from Bristol Farms or Whole Foods. Anywhere else?
I enjoy vegan variations on the traditional foods so I'm not looking for aanything too far from that.
I'm also not looking to bust the bank on this. I can make a decent, relatively inexpensive meal myself. Just thought it would be a good idea to ask the collective before firing up my oven.
Thanks so much!

Vegetarian is ok. Vegan would be better.

Second Real Food Daily, and Native Foods usually does something too. Both will probably be more expensive than making food yourself (though of course more relaxing). Both will require an advance reservation. I did the RFD one a while back (maybe 7-8 years ago?) when I was spending a Thanksgiving alone), and it was pretty good. It's usually a seitan turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, greens, yams, heavily spiced (and delicious) pumpkin pie. You pick it up the day before, IIRC.

Second Native Foods in Westwood. I am neither vegan nor vegetarian, but found it to have very good tasting food, their vegan chicken sandwich was great and their sweet potato fries were better than Breadbar's or the Counter
