Spiced-- Indian-inspired thai and chinese in Astoria

Got take out from this place tonight, everything was very flavorful and fresh tasting. A plesant alternative to the americanized Chinese food. The coriander chicken was unlike anything I've ever had, in a good way-- the chicken is thinly sliced and in a bright green brothy, spicy, cilantro and lemongrass sauce. The spicy steamed greens were excellent: broccoli, bok choi and green beans sauteed to perfection, not terribly spicy though. Even the white rice was exceptional, not too try or too sticky. Black bean chicken was nice-- just chicken and green beans in a very light-- almost not-there black bean sauce. Also had the honey-chili tofu appetizer, which was perhaps the least unusual, but still tasty things in our order--- firm tofu, fried and in a sweet sauce.
Can't wait to try everything else on the menu!!
Spiced is at 35-12 Ditmars Blvd
