Great restaurants in Whiterock BC

Can anyone recommend some top notch restaurants in white rock ?

I know this post is old, but over the weekend I was visiting White Rock and looking for a recommendation and unfortunately this seemed to be the only thread going on White Rock. I just wanted to report back on a great place we found, Uli's and it was fantastic! We were seated at the bar as we waited for an outside table (a must when dining on the waterfront in White Rock). The bartenders were great, they were incredibly knowledgable and we enjoyed some really unique beers. Once we settled in to our table outside we were really impressed by the great service staff and fantastic food. Our table enjoyed the Halibut special of the day, Fishermen's Pot, and Fish and Chips. All were of great quality and the value was impressive. I would highly recommend this place!

I can't recommend it personally as I haven't been but Pearl on the Rock gets some love on this board. The search function in its most recent incarnation is beyond me but if you can find the link to this place you could read some comments...

Yes...I was going to mention Pearl on the Rock - chef Connor Butler's former digs. I haven't been either.

In Ladner ( a fairly short drive from Whiterock) is La Belle Auberge. It has been many years since I have benn there. It is still pretty well regarded.

Is it just me or is this new auto-generated inline link thing annoying. (Note that "Connor Butler" was turned into a link to Connor Butler's restaurant by the Chowhound system....I didn't do that. Connor Butler is closed, BTW).

I am finding it kind of annoying. It's hard to see where the links are on my screen because of the colour they come up and (more significantly) they are embedded rather than broken out so you can see what restos are being discussed.The in line link you mention (which I noticed too) is now gone so I can't check but I did mark CB as closed FWIW.

I notice all my "C_nner Butl_r" mentions have been converted to links in my previous post.

Also it is odd that "Pearl on the Rock" - the actual restaurant we were talking about - was't converted into a link.
