I'll be in Denver for Xmas and will not be carrying my Atlas pasta machine...So, is there a source in Denver for fresh pasta, say, sheets, for making lasagne? Or a source for decent quality imported dried lasagne, made with eggs?

Thanks...

If you are looking for an easy source, King Soopers does (or at least did) carry refrigerated fresh lasagne sheets. -- perhaps still the Antica Pasteria or the Monterey Pasta brand, perhaps not.

If you are in/near northwest Denver, you might try Parisi at 44th and Tennyson. They operate both a restaurant and a take-out deli. Since they make their own pasta, especially if you ask them to set some aside in advance, might also sell you some fresh pasta.

Spinelli's at 4621 E 23rd Ave. (between Cherry and Dexter) carries "fresh frozen" lasagne noodles.

It's a pretty spread out city; do you know where you'll be located?

Here's one possibility at S. Broadway & Alameda: http://www.bellapastaco.com/pasta

Here's another in North Denver; if they don't have it, they might know where you can get it.

Closest to downtown, the folks at Tony's Market might have ideas for you to. http://www.tonysmarket.com/

Thanks for the responses...I'm following up on all of those...My sister loves Tony's. My problem with commercial "fresh" pasta is that it is not usually as thin as I make at home, so the end result is not as light as the classic from Bologna. But, short of lugging the Atlas or Imperia machines in my luggage, commercial will have to do. thanks again!
