Back in the 80s when my husband was traveling on a student's budget, he claims you could get pea soup, baked beans, and coffee for US$5. Or at least that's what he remembers paying. Don't know about now. We're visiting this weekend and he got a little sentimental.

The restaurant changed ownership about two years ago, the original owner sold to a very nice englishman( I think from the Maritimes ) and the new owner stayed true to the original menu.Nothing has changed still great value.Don't forget the takeout Tourtiere's and beans for the Holidays !
