Tea Sandwiches Catered

SKD Oct 28, 2009 12:18 PM

Where in the Los Angeles/Beverly Hills area can I find tea sandwiches and scones for catering? I need to order them for a baby shower this Sunday, and the only places I can find that mention tea sandwiches seem to be dine-in only.

Clementine in Century City has great sandwiches (sure they'd make tea portions) and scones...

Clementine would also be my choice.

Unfortunately, Clementine is closed on Sundays. (I just went through this for a shower I hosted a couple weeks ago.) You could pick them up on Saturday, but that's not ideal.

We ended up getting tea sandwiches from Tudor House. We had: curry chicken (tasty), tuna salad (good), cream cheese, herb & walnut (fine, but not exciting) and salmon & cucumber (a little too fishy, even for fish lovers).

Be sure to order them with the crusts cut off - it's only upon request.

Marmalade in Santa Monica did a good job for a shower I threw a few years back.

          Paddington's on Robertson. http://www.paddingtonstearoom.com/cat...
Also, awhile back Gelson's or Bristol Farms used to do it, you can try to call and ask.

Thanks for mentioning Bristol Farms. I think I'm going to use them to cater my Tea sandwich brunch!!

It's not necessarily in the LA/Beverly Hills area, but I believe that Julienne in Pasadena can fulfill your request.
