Does anyone know where I can buy fresh curry leaves and bay leaves. I saw that there was a post on buying a curry leave plants, but where I live, there is no way that it would grow in my garden...i.e. cold and salty wind (I live near the coast)
I've seen the dried stuff in Tescos and Asda but I think for better flavor, I'd quite like to get the fresh stuff.

Asda has curry leaves - well, it does in Bristol.

I buy curry leaves online from the spice shop (http://www.thespiceshop.co.uk/). They freeze well, and you can use them straight from the freezer.

I get fresh bay leaves from Waitrose.

Unfortunately I've never seen Waitrose in Scotland. Might try Sainsburys though.

My local Tesco Extra has fresh curry leaves.

Curry leaves seem to be reasonably available in local decent asian shops near me.

But, for bay, I just open the back door and pluck.
