Bridal Shower Food Ideas: Who should I order from?

mymomisthebestcook Oct 28, 2009 04:46 AM

Hi Everyone~
Im throwing an in-office Bridal Shower for one of my co-workers in Dec and am in need of food ideas. Im thinking about inviting about 30 people and the majority of the people are not adventurous eaters, so I need to choose something that everyone will like since they will have to put their share of the cost for food in. She, however, likes everything. My office is on F ST in NW so I need some place that wont mind delivering. Some ideas I have are: Sandwiches from COSI, Qdoba, Pizza (Pizza Hut?) I actually want to do BBQ, but I dont know where to order from. Any ideas are GREATLY appreciated. I would like the cost pp to be $10-15. I really want to make this special for my co-worker bc she always goes out of her way for others and this is the least we can give her in return.

I did a bridal shower for my niece a few years ago that was catered by Whole Foods. It was quite reasonable. I ordered a variety of wraps and a few side salads and the guests really enjoyed the spread. I did have to pick up the food, however, so this may be a nonstarter, unless they deliver in the District.
