I have a friend coming to visit who adores ceviche? Are there any nice restaurants in Orange County or LA who have exceptional ceviche?
I love the ceviche at Puro Sabor in Van Nuys, but it is Peruvian style. That means it has large chunks of fish, shrimp or squid (depending on which type you order) and it is served with roasted corn kernels that provide a crunch.
I have not been to Mo Chica downtown, but Jonathan Gold calls it the "consensus king of Los Angeles ceviche."
