I actually laughed at the commercial with the two wise guys taking a break munching on their sandwich with some guy locked up in the car trunk. I thought it was funny in a stereotypical way, I am waiting for some anti defamation Italian-American group to start complaining. The company has said it will not renew the advertising when it ends on Wednesday. Portraying Italian-Americans as garbagemen and mobsters isn't any way to sell a sandwhich, much like the Frito Bandito was no way to sell chips. This isn't about being PC; it's about being respectful of a heritage. Kudos to Carls Jr. for making the right decision.
