<content>I could have sworn I saw a thread on this place but my search turns up nothing. This is in the old Delicious on the Slope space - an odd space not made better by the new owner's kitschy Mexican decorations. But the food is surprisingly good!

Last night I tried the steak quesadilla; my dining companion had a chicken burrito. We were brought a large bowl of really good, fresh salsa with chips to start. The quesadilla made a nice smallish dinner - very tasty, with a nice serving of guacamole, sour cream, and salad. I did not try the chicken burrito but hear it was similarly good. The owner is incredibly friendly, and gave us a plate of flan gratis to top off the meal.

We had also ordered chicken enchiladas and a chile relleno for delivery a week ago, also good.

There is no liquor license and the place looks more like a lunch room so survival may be iffy. Also, if you are looking for very authentic Mexican food this is not the place - but it is authentic Tex Mex or Cal Mex, and they know what they're doing in the kitchen. I definitely recommend for a casual meal or take out.
