Lunch Suggestions for Special Occasion -West Side

TheGus Oct 27, 2009 10:13 AM

I am celebrating my mother's 65th birthday with 5 others. We want to go somewhere special for lunch. It needs to be on the West Side somewhere between 30's- 90's. A nice view is a plus. Any suggestions?

How about Asiate? The view is spectacular and last time I was there they had quite a reasonable prix fix lunch. I think they usually change it each month but I'm sure if you called you could find out what the selections are.

My other suggestion would be Jean George. Great food, atmosphere and certainly special occasion.

Unfortunately, Jean George does not serve lunch on Sundays in the formal dining room. I believe the Nougatine Room is open, but is serving brunch, not lunch.

As said other places on CH, Jean-Georges has a fantastic lunch that's a bargain, given the quality of food and service. If you're looking for something a little more casual, maybe A Voce Columbus Circle would be a good alternative.

Per Se serves lunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
