Looking for a GREAT seafood place, dinner for 5 people, no price point, creative, not “Typical” Can be in any of the boros, even Westchester.

Extra point for BYOB.

Ok, been mulling that bonus point. Abbott's Lobster in the Rough in Noank, CT may be too far for you, BUT it is a byob and boasts iconic views of the Sound and damn good crustation.

A bit closer, but shuttered for the winter is The Place in Guilford, CT. Bring your own booze, salad, sides, etc. Lobster, Bluefish, chicken, clams roasted on open wood bbq. and outdoor rump-on-a-stump dining.

How about half a point?

abbot's is a seasonal operation. they closed columbus day for the year.

years ago they were very good but have deteriorated into an overpriced mediocre tourist trap. service and the food quality have slipped tremendously while prices are high by comparison.

ive been told that costello's which is next door and owned by the same people offers better quality food.

F.I.S.H. in Port Chester. Very creative. Route to it is pure Noir, you'll think you're in Cape Fear.

No bonus point, however.

Agree with FISH and little jfood would call the last 1/2 mile sketchy. But once you ar einside, it is great fish and great fun.
