Monday Burger Special @ Harry's Bar, Fillmore Street, SF
Just back from the Monday burger special at Harry's Bar on Fillmore Street, between Pine & California. For $10.95, you get a burger, fries (or salad) and a pint of draft beer (Sierra Nevada or Fat Tire ale).
The burger was very, very good and cooked as ordered. It is easily 6 oz. on the toasted bun. The fries were excellent, crisp and not the least bit greasy.
I don't know if they run this special all year or just during football season. I will certainly return soon.

Sorry, I did not notice if there was a statement of where the beef was sourced. I was too busy eating!

The Monday burger is the classic burger and that burger is made from Prather Ranch. From the top of the online menu ...
"Harry's Bar food menu focuses on local and sustainable ingredients and is proud
to be working with artisan purveyors Prather Ranch, Zoe's Meats, Mary's Free
Range Chicken, Diestel Family Turkey Ranch, and Acme Bread"
The hot dog is from Prather Ranch too. Don't remember trying that yet. May need to drop by. The saurkraut is house made.
The spinach dip is made with Bloomsdale spinch. Who else offers Bloomsdale in their spiach dip.
They certainly are less expensive than may places. A side of Zoe's bacon at Slow Clup is $3.50 at Slow Club or Beach Chalet, $4 at Roots but only $1.95 at Harry's which now offers weekend brunch and the option of a bottomless $10 bellini.
