Anthony Nuth & Owen Steinberg - Where art thou?

Two of my favourite restaurants in the past were JOV Bistro under the helm of Owen Steinberg and Herbs run by Anthony Nuth. With both of these restaurants now closed, any idea where these two chefs went?

  1. Owen was Exec Corporate Chef at Il Fornello of all places for a while, but I think he left there. Last I heard maybe catering/consulting.

        Thanks for the info! Guess I have to hold a huge party in order to enjoy their food again!

          I might look like an ass for assuming but they both probably decided to switch career paths for family reasons. It's incredibly hard maintaining ties w/ the rest of the world when running a restaurant. Catering or consulting are the escape clauses....

          It is unfortunate that at some point most chefs have to choose between the two.

            From what I heard, (from a good source) that's exactly why the Citizen and Rosebud were for sale.

      2. I can tell you exactly where they are. Anthony Nuth is the Executive Chef at the private Granite Club golf course. Owen Steinberg is now an administrator at the George Brown College Chef School. Certain of both
