However, my brother has the tast buds of a 5 year old(think, Chicken Parm, Cheeseburgers, Pizza, etc) and my boyfriend and I are vegetarains, sortof(we only eat fish occassionally). Check out Coda. I think you'll find there something for all of you on the menu.

Note on Coda - the burger isn't on the menu anymore, but they will make it upon request.

(Edit - apparently it's on the website menu. So, they either recently put it back on or haven't updated their website in a while.)

Stella could also fit the bill, a bit loud inside though

What about Pops? They specialize in "upscale" diner food, which includes meatloaf, cheeseburgers, mac and cheeseetc.

Also, you might want to think about Picco, which is a casual place for pizza and ice cream. I think you could find some vegetarian and meat options.

I agree, Pops would be a good bet.

I second Picco - upscale pizzas and delicious ice cream . . . but not so upscale that it doesn't suit the tastes of 5-year-olds (we took ours there ALL the time!). It's a place we often meet up with our less-adventurous friends, but also choose to go on our own.

you could go to JJ Foleys for pub fare- burgers, club sandwiches etc. For veggie items they have some salads and a veggie burger I know.
