Does anyone who went to Crave Arizona remember who the restaurant was that served the Pork Belly with Mac 'n' Cheese? Was that Cooperstown or another restaurant that was next to it? They also had a mango cheesecake lollipop, it was all very good.

Thanks!

Yes, as AZhotdish said, that sounds like the Four Seasons table. On the right was friendly Chef Mel Mecinas from "Talavera" with seared tuna, and the cheesecake lollipops (so good!). If I'm remembering correctly, on the left was "Crescent Moon", Four Season's casual restaurant, serving the plates with poblano mac and cheese and grilled shrimp, though I thought the third item was braised short ribs instead of pork belly. So much great food, hard to remember!

Thanks! I'm sure you have it right, now I remember the seared tuna and the shrimp and wonderful, yummilicious short ribs. The Four Seasons win me over again as Talavera has also been wonderful both this year and last during Restaurant Week. The food is very good, the service as friendly as can be and that patio view overlooking the property and northern Scottsdale is lovely. Crescent Moon just got bumped up to my short list.

So I wonder where the pork belly came from? There were small pieces in a little plastic cup with what looked to be home made corn nuts. Hmm...

Oh, that sounds like Deseo : ) They were serving that as a side to their ceviche. I liked that too. Speaking of pork belly, a favorite was Cowboy Ciao's smoked paprika rubbed pork belly with green apple. You're making me hungry! Here's a pic of the short ribs and mac just posted on Chow Bella. mmmmm

No fair - I've never had a good meal at Talavera, nor Crescent Moon! Did I hit bad nights or pick poorly? Any entrees you can recommend for my next visit? TIA.
