Is anyone else having persistent problems with clicking on a thread and receiving the 100 font "CHOW" is experiencing a minor problem...

This error message is occuring >50% of the time recently.

It's nice that yhere are people focussing on a new restaurant do-loop, but how about fixing the bones before having cosmetic surgery?

TIA

There has not been a single day since I started reading Chowhound that I have not seen that error message at least once. My daily "rotation" covers about 50 websites. This is the absolute buggiest. Bar none.

"(A)t least once," not "once." Also note that despite the error page's plaintive request that you "go back to Chow" or whatever, you can just refresh the page and it usually loads ok. Usually.

recently jfood would have written at least 5, but you are correct.

jfood also just hits the F5 key and it refreshes. Sometimes all the posts are incorrectly expanded, other times it is correct with only the previously non-read posts expanded.

And if I neglect the Home Cooking board for more than a day or two, Chowhound forgets I was ever there (I was! I swear!) and declines to tell me whether any of the posts are new to me. Argh.

Let me also amend "at least once" to "at least five times," which today seems more accurate. I miss the days when "application error" just meant I forgot to include my references.

Jfood's F5 key is getting quite a workout.
