Mom and Pop restaurants

now that Jims burger haven has closed, i was wondering if anyone has any other mom and pop restaurants they like to go to

    At The Table in Asbury Park is family-run, and wonderful. (No alcohol permitted, however)

      I consider Under the Moon and Mom and Pop restaurant as it is run by Estella and Luigi. They were friends in town and we knew them long before they opened Under the Moon, and I don't think there is a more family run restaurant in Bordentown. Great place and worth a try. I am sure you have seen the many positive review in here about them. Love it! -mJ

        I don't know about Mom & Pop, but Nikos Trapezi in Long Brance is certainly a family run place, as is Shirin Cafe in Manalapan and Ibby's in Freehold.
