Copper Chimney Woodland Hills--WHAT'S WRONG??

Chef's night off on Sunday? This used to be a great Indian restaurant but I'll bet that the chef has departed. I vaguely recognized the host, but the waitress needed a shower and some deodorant.
We ordered 4 dishes that we had enjoyed previously on a few occasions. Mulligatawny soup, a garden salad, shrimp tandoori and Karahi chicken. Tonight, none of these dishes was anything to return for.
The soup which DH had enjoyed before was more spicy than flavorful. My salad came with horrible, gloppy WISHBONE Italian dressing-- I know, I couldn't believe it! The waitress questioned how spicy we wanted our main dishes. We told her "medium". My shrimp was tasteless and it was served in a shrimp cocktail cup with a creamy white sauce in the bottom. (yogurt??). It definitely wasn't served in that manner before and DH's chicken was dry and overcooked. We finished and left.

Was this an aberration or what? We're now recalling that our last visit, sometime in the spring, wasn't fabulous, but it certainly wasn't like this one. We won't be returning unless we're convinced that this was a really off night! !

I stopped by for lunch in May, downright disappointing. Have not bothered revisiting. Surprised given the earlier positive reviews.
