Where do I find good baba ganoush in the Somerville area?

I'm looking specifically to buy a tub of baba ganoush to take home, not eat in a restaurant. I'm also hoping to not have to travel too far from the Arlington/Somerville area to get it.

I've never gotten it as takeout from Cafe Barada (North Cambridge - Mass Ave), but I'm sure you can.

At Formaggio Kitchen they have a nice smoky baba ganoush available - Samira's - made in Belmont! It is my favorite around, but I haven't had Sevan's version.

If you can make it as far as Watertown, try Arax, Sevan, or Massis, all on Mt. Auburn Street within a two block range. Fresh, tasty, traditional versions, probably less pricey than Sofra (though Sofra's will no doubt be quite good).

You can also find baba ganoush at Russo's... or at any Whole Foods. I bet they even have it at Market Basket, but I am not sure which ones do or do not carry it.

Check Sofra near the Belmont/Cambridge line--I am not 100% sure they have baba ganoush in their refrigerator case, but pretty sure they do. Everything there is wonderful, from Ana Sortun of Oleana fame.
