Chinese Beef Jerky

I got some great, fresh Chinese-style beef jerky in NYC Chinatown (http://www.newbeefking.com/). It's not tough and leathery like typical jerky, even the typical Chinese jerkies you can buy by the bag or box at Asian grocery stores. Has anyone come across this stuff in the Los Angeles area? I figure there must be some jerky source hiding out somewhere in the San Gabriel Valley.
Thanks.

Ranch 99 markets (many locations, see Google) carry an assortment Soo brand Chinese Jerky (pork, beef and salmon).

Soo Jerky... Sooo good. Ha ha. I've got to get over to Ranch 99 one of these days.

Second your rec for Champion, but it's because it's convenient so I've never sought any others that specialize in this. Ipse's rec is a serious consideration, as are all of his recs.

Haha, Champion is the only one I've ever been to as well. I've had it from different places, but honestly I couldn't tell the difference. Even compared to ones brought back from Asia. Discerning palates may disagree.
