Butcher Classes

I was wondering if anyone knew of a place to learn the art of butchery, preferably in New England or New York.

Check local Community Colleges...Some offer a 2 year program in meat cutting to prepare the Graduate for entry level positions in retail outlets....

Completely family taught in a true production facility. This is the class to get your hands dirty and develop some legitimate butcher skills.

A friend's son in Oregon went to "meat cutting school" and it was a two year program, I believe. Have no info re the NE.

Tom Mylan formerly of Marlowe and Daughter's is opening a butchery school in Williamsburg.
