Best vegan in Manhattan

Is there a great vegan restaurant in NYC, like Millenium in San Francisco ? Or are there tasty vegan eateries ? I mean, flavour.

    i don't know what Millenium is like, but Pure Food & Wine is usually the top choice around here.

    others to consider are Kyotofu, Gobo, Hangawi, Blossom Gourmet Vegan, Candle 79, Dirt Candy, Angelica Kitchen...

      Kajitsu may be the best. It's traditional Japanese kaiseki and they aren't aiming to cater to Western vegans at all. Vegans seem to love it nonetheless. Dirt Candy gets a lot of love too from vegans, but I haven't been.

      But I'm FAR from a vegan so perhaps others will chime in. I did love Ubuntu in Napa though.
