Breakfast around Eglinton and Bermondsey?

Leslieville Oct 23, 2009 04:30 PM

Any suggestions for breakfast around Eglinton and Bermondsey for tomorrow morning? Doesn't have to be brunchy,or fancy. I even like diners!! I'm not too familiar with the area, but perhaps some one else.

Valley Fields Restaurant does a good breakfast, from what I've heard. I've only been there for lunch, but the breakfast menu looks good. It's at Lawrence & Railside, though, so a bit north and not walking distance.

If you have a car, it's not far from there to go west to Laird. On Laird, a bit south of Eglinton, there's Leonard's (haven't been, but hear they do a decent breakfast, diner style) and a bit south of that is Marvellous Edibles.

A little late, since your 'tomorrow morning' has already happened, but I'm sure you've found out that there are no eateries at Egl and Bermondsey (I don't think I'd count the Esso station on the corner). But if you're out there again, I second CQ's and pescatarian's suggestions of Valley Fields and Marvellous Edibles.
