Soho: post-dinner drinks with mothers

fclm Oct 22, 2009 07:24 AM

Hi All,

My mother and her girlfriends (40s-50s) are visiting from out of town and I am drawing a blank on where I can take them for post-dinner drinks. Eating at Balthazar tomorrow night, and they are looking for a fun time afterwards. Not-too-trendy would be the ticket I guess, but somewhere with a good ambiance or something you definetly can't fine in the 'Burbs!

      Agreed, on Pegu Club.

I have to think your mom and her girlfriends would LOVE it! My mom turns 50 this year, and I'm confident that she'd think it's pretty neat, plus a very New York-y experience.

The cocktails are quite interesting and almost meals in themselves.

I was thinking about Monday room, but apparently these women want to do cocktails... danger zone...

You might enjoy drinks at the winebar at Peasant or, if you would prefer cocktails, a table at Room 18 or the bar at Bar Artisanal.
