Mostly the Sprint ad, but also the CBS variations. My browser is rendered useless until the Sprint ad loads and sits for quite some time, I can't even move to other tabs. No problems with other pages / sites. Am using firefox.

There's a way to block ads on firefox, it's called Adblock Plus and it works great. See if you can find it and load it on, it's great for all media type websites.

Oh here it is, sorry I'm not technical enough to explain in all its glory.

already aware of the adblockers (it's always suggested in here for ad problems), and they also keep things like YouTube and various other vids that I DO want to see, from working.

It's not ads in general that are causing me problems. For eg. the Ford ad doesn't cause any lags or freezes.

The best thing to do when you run into problem ads is to click on the grey word 'advertisement' that appears above or to the right of the ad, and report the ad as broken via that form. That'll go directly to the technical team who deals with ads, and send them all the necessary information about the ad and your browser version so they can look into the problem.
