Cranberry Lime Sorbet?

I know it is a little early but the wife and I are starting to think about our Thanksgiving Menu. We were contemplating serving a Cranberry Lime Sorbet as a between course palate cleanser. Do you think it would be to tart to serve this way or should we serve it at dessert time?

  1. I guess it depends on your recipe, but I wouldn't think it would be any more tart than lemon or grapefruit sorbet. Sounds refreshing.

      It sure does sound refreshing! I love mixing cranberry juice with a hefty wedge of squeezed lime for a virgin evening cocktail...flavors are very good together! (heh, I usually cut the Northland cranberry juice with some water, too)

    2. Sounds lovely, angelo04 for between courses. If you were to serve it as a dessert, I would go gelato instead of sorbet with cranberry & lime.
