I recently started Weight Watchers, and am finding it very tempting to overeat great restaurant food or to order the wrong thing. Does anyone have any good Weight Watcher friendly restaurant suggestions? They advocate low calorie, low fat, high fiber. Please don't suggest Applebees -- I know they have a Weight Watchers menu, but that is not my idea of good food!

TIA.

I have been on and off WW for years, and I am not sure I have figured out the trick to eating out...

But....sushi is ALWAYS a good option if you eat it. Really low points. I tend to eat a LOT of sushi when I am being strict on points.

I have heard a rumor that Magic Carpet (kosher Middle Eastern/Yemenite on Pico just west of La Cienega) has a points menu, but I am not sure about that.

Jack Sprat's Grille on Pico near Westside Pavilion has a lot of healthy options-- including yummy air=baked fries.

Salads, vegetarian soups, etc.....

Good luck!

Also the Jack Spratt's folks have another healthy type place called Foodies which is upstairs in the mini mall on the northwest corner of Barrington and Wilshire in West LA.

I think that in general pho can be pretty good if you don't have too many of the noodles, and get extra veggies.

Also, if you are downtown, there a good tasty options at Angelique Cafe. I especially like their salmon salad.
