Murfreesboro, TN-where to take a client?

jehflyer Oct 21, 2009 07:13 AM

I am in Murfreesboro for one night only with a client.
Any type of food should be ok, but want good service and hopefully a good wine list.
What is generally considered the "best" restaurant in town?

I would look into the restaurant the Five Senses. I've never been there, but it's gotten good local reviews, especially by the Nashville Scene.

      Thank you for the suggestion.
It looks like an interesting place and I will try it out next week.
I will let you know how it was.

        This was a great recommendation.
We were a group of eight on a Monday night.
The restaurant was hard to find and empty but then the service was very attentive and the menu interesting.
The wine list was short but more than adequate.
Food: local produce, well prepared-in particular I found the fried oysters (which I seldom like) to be oustanding, as was the pot roast.
My gusts all seemed to enjoy this place.
