I know Rome is all about Rome, and I know pretty well where to find that.

However, I know also that there are other Italian cuisines available: decent Emilia-Romagna, Le Marche, Ligurian, Sardinian chow can be found. So, is there anywhere that has decent versions of piemontese dishes? I can't get to Alba on my next visit, but would love to find a place in Rome with reasonable agnolotti dal plin, especially since it's truffle season....truffles!!!!!???????????

Aiuto!

I'm not aware of a Piemontese restaurant in Rome. I read about this restaurant, which says it specializes in truffles, years ago:

This is not a recommendation: I've never eaten there.

Sorry, can't help with Piemontese either, but Roscioli has just started offering the first truffles of the season. You can also get truffle dishes at L'Arcangelo.

Nope. You have to go to Piedmont for agnolotti dal plin (well worth the trip), but, as other have suggested, white truffles can be had. All you need is money.
