Thinking of taking husband there for his birthday... a Tuesday night. How's the food? What are prices like? Is the jazz deafening, or just right?

Thanks Chowhounds...

Superb venue, and with any luck at all, the music will fit your taste.
www.vibratogrilljazz.com for the music listings, menu, etc.
Think of it as the Arroyo Chop House in Pasadena situated on Beverly Glen near the top of the hill.
Pricey, yes, good, yes, worth it, for a birthday, yes!
As to music timing, plan your reservation accordingly.

Went there on our anniversary 2 weeks ago. Great ambience and if you like jazz you are in for a treat. If you can get a booth that's great for privacy. Not a bad seat in the house. Love jazz and the food so we'd like to go back once a month.

      The acoustics are fantastic.

Service is 5 star. Hoss the GM introduced himself.

Had two appetizers Salmon Potato Knish and Lamb Lollipops. Both were delicious. Apps run 10-16

I had the Chilean Sea Bass and he had the ribeye. Entrees run 33-48.

Got a side of mac and cheese and roasted mushrooms. 10-12 each Both were yummy.

Had just one glass of wine for 16.

We got a complimentary dessert for our anniversary chocolate with grand marnier.

Came out to $145 for both of us.

No cover. People come just for drinks and apps too.
