I just saw this new store will be opening soon at the Carrefour Laval mall.

Anyone know if it's any good? Apparently there's one at Mont-Tremblant.

Thanks!

I bought some of their stuff in Ottawa and it was pretty horrid.

On on top of that it's really expensive.

celfie : Doesn't mean because it's a chain that's it's necessarily bad, even though some people assume so automatically.

        eat2much : thanks, that's what I was looking for =)

I also gave it a try in Tremblant... underwhelmed... really not worth it.

I buy their sponge toffee (very good) and dip it in milk chocolate (even better). other than that, it's very mediocre and the chocolate IMHO is cheap tasting.

I really like the chocolate covered sponge toffee, and I like the dark chocolate bear claw, basically a large cashew turtle. Their stuff isn't anything super special, but I wouldn't go as far as to say they are horrid. It reminds me of a lot of American chocolate based candy products, like See's. If you don't like that style of chocolate then yes, you will find it horrid. I would agree it is expensive. But I'll go in there once in a while, and I'll buy a piece of chocolate now and then.
