Going to a show at Tada, ...

which is at 15 W. 28 St. (Broadway), this Friday. Was looking for a good spot for an early dinner nearby. We don't like very spicy food, no Thai or Indian, and also not expensive (not much more than $25 p.p.). One of us is a vegetarian. Any suggestions? I saw Sala One-Nine got some good reviews, but it's not very close (down on 19 St.) Perhaps it's worth the walk?

bar breton is right around the corner and fits the bill. also hill country is close if you want bbq.

Hill Country probably wouldn't be good for the vegetarian. I do second the Bar Breton rec and would also add ilili.

Thank you both for the suggestions. Bar Breton looks a bit pricey. Ilili definietly looks promising. I like Middle Eastern food, and the prices look reasonable.
