Hmm, I have reservations here coming up this weekend. Do you think a lame duck restaurant is risky?

I had cocktails and a few snacks at the bar on Tuesday and the place was packed and everyone was fully committed to a great experience. I think they are professionals and will do a great job until the end. I had dinner at Bartolotta and did the tasting menu and it was spectacular on Wednesday.

Nothing wrong with the restaurant, and they were not in any financial difficulty - Boulud simply wants out of Vegas - tooo far away from his culinary presence on the East Coast. The Wynn has already lines up another tenent for the spot.

Then why is he opening up a restaurant at Sheldon Adelson's resort in Singapore? He wanted out of the Wynn, not out of Vegas. I wouldn't be surprised if a new Daniel Boulud property opens up at the Venetian or Palazzo in Vegas in a year or two.

Any truth to the rumor that Daniel Boulud is taking over the Restaurant Charlie location in the Palazzo?

Restaurant Charlie is one of the best places to eat in Vegas. Can't imagine why it would go away. Anyone with news would be much appreciated.
