Try New Orleans Vieux Carre in Leimert Park. I haven't been there personally, but friends from NOLA seems to like it, so it might be worth a try.

I've been to La Louisianne in the View Park area before and I've enjoyed their jambalaya, but that's all I've had.

I almost forgot Harold & Bell's Restaurant. It is also in Leimert Park. Very good food.
