Carbone's on Franklin Ave in Hartford. As far as I know, they still prepare it fresh, tableside (but I'd call first to confirm). One of the few places left in the state that does this.

How great? There must be dozens of places within 30 minutes of BDL. Look here for some good restaurants: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&...
Concentrate on the blue POI's, with dot (usually upscale American) or red POI's with dot (Italian).
