Soul Food Farm CSA - eggs & chickens

Soul Food Farm, which raises the best eggs I've found as well as first-rate chicken, just started a CSA. They offer whole chickens, eggs by the dozen, giblets, and livers. Deliveries are on Wednesdays:

* 1st Wednesday: Emeryville & Soul Food Farm in Vacaville
* 2nd Wed: San Francisco, in Mission/Bernal/Portrero area
* 3rd Wed: West/Central Berkeley & Soul Food Farm in Vacaville
* 4th Wed: San Francisco, in Hayes Valley

You pay $100 up front via PayPal and order what you want, no weekly minimum. More info:

    Do you know where the W. Berkeley pickup spot is?

        California near Dwight, more of what I think of as central Berkeley, or maybe verging on south Berkeley, depending on which side of Dwight its on and whether or not you are talking to a real estate agent...

        They've added chicken confit to the product list. Also slightly larger chickens pastured on a nearby ranch, and their organic olive oil.

          I got some confit last week but have not tried it yet. Looks great!

            The olive oil is from Katz.
