Where is the best donut IMHO in Massachusetts?

Verna's in Cambridge on Mass Ave has got to be one of the best I've had. They have amazing cinnamon raisin crullers. These are like the ones my grandmother made.

I have had terrific handmade donuts at both Gail Ann Coffee Shop in Arlington and Linda's in Belmont, but haven't been to either in a few years. Ziggy's in Salem, MA is a tiny quirky hole in the wall, but they have awesome fresh handmade donuts. I hear Marty's Donut Land in Ipswich is excellent, and am actually planning to check it out next week. I'll let you know what I find!

I'm partial to Donut Cafe in Worcester. Mostly been to the Shrewsbury St. store, and I assume they send them over from the Chandler St. store.

DONUT DIP. they have these amazing eggy, glazed donuts that I haven't seen anywhere else. Also, excellent hours. 3am-midnight.

I also THINK I remember Hamilton Orchards on Rt 202 near belchertown having good cider donuts. It is important that they are still warm, if not HOT. And they are.

Anyplace BUT Dunkin Donuts, IMHO.

Try Mrs Murphy's Donuts on Routes 10 & 202 in Southwick, Mass. They've been written up in Yankee Magazine as one of the best in New England.
