KENZO - JAPANESE

Great ramen soups and plenty of variety (only what you need). The Gyoja (gyoza) are fresh and very good, they come 6 for $6.95. The Tokoyaki balls are fantastic and all handmade. There is plenty of octopus in them. Decor so-so, but the staff is very nice and food is great.

  1. I had been to the old Kenzo in North York a dozen times. Last month finally tried the downtown location and it was horrible. The ramen soup and noodles were just plain bad.

After that I tried the old North York location again. From what I'd read on here, its a new owner but I think I saw the same woman cooking in the back. The food was the same as its always been (.much better than the downtown location).
