The restaurant, which dates back to 1582, is selling 18,000 bottles from its 450,000 collection. The four bottles of armagnac vieux have been valued at €400 (£365) to €500 each. The sale, by the auction house Piasa, is on December 7 and 8. It will include three bottles of Clos du Griffier cognac from 1788.
