Living in rural southern Burgundy, our food choices in the region tend to be limited to Burgundian cuisine, French cuisine, and pizza. I'll be meeting a friend for lunch near the Gare de Lyon in Paris on a Monday and we were hoping to eat a spicy meal (I saw the rec for the great Vietnamese place nearby but it's closed on Mondays) be that Vietnamese, Korean, Thai, Indian, whatever. Knowing that Mondays are when many restaurants close, if no delicious spicy options are available, I'm also craving Corsican or authentic Italian. Would settle for some excellent couscous or a tagine. Also, the closer to Gare de Lyon the better, as my train departs at 13h50, which doesn't leave much time for a leisurely lunch.
Many thanks in advance!

Café Seoul, 19 rue Fbg St-Antoine isn't too far away. The barbecue is good, as is the bibimbap, and things like kimchee-tofu soup are okay if nothing special. It's pretty informal and plain, but clean, tastey, inexpensive and they've usually got K-pop playing.

Are they definitely open on Mondays? It's a tad bit farther than I'd prefer since I hate to have to rush lunch, but I'll keep it in mind. Thanks!

I'm 95% certain that they're open on Mondays. They draw the lunch crowd from the small firms in the area. As for the distance ... it's about 10 min from the quais if you take the metro 1.
