i do enjoy making fresh pasta, but for weeknight meals, i'm looking for an easy out. anyone know of somewhere to buy fresh pasta in milwaukee or the surrounding area? i'm mainly interested in fresh pasta sheets, but wouldn't be upset if i could also get tortellini and ravioli.

    You could try:

    Glorioso Brothers Italian foods
    1020 E Brady St
    Milwaukee, WI 53202
    (414) 272-0540

I think they have moved right across the street but still on Brady st.

I second Glorioso Brothers and if you can't find what you need there, head down to Tenuta's in Kenosha. http://www.tenutasdeli.com They have TONS of ready made pasta, ravioli, etc...

Glorioso's has a freezer full of pasta, but none unfrozen, that I know of. The ravioli and tortellini are good. The gnocchi stuffed with cheese or portabella and cheese are very good. Unfortunately, the discontinued the pasta sheets some time ago.

I'd check Sendik's and other higher end groceries for refrigerated. What ever happened to Bella Luna? Did they rename/brand? Used to make fresh pasta at a factory on the river at Humbolt.
