Hi all,

My husband, my mother, and myself are all coming to Vegas 12/24-12/26, and of course we're looking for good places to eat. Two limiting factors. First, both my husband and mother are very picky eaters. The best way to describe them are as people who don't like that many ingredients in their meals. Second, they won't want to spend exorbant amounts of money on meals. Their high end will be $75 for app/meal/dessert WITH tax and tip. Which makes me a little sad since I am one of you and LOVE good food at any price. Can you think of some restaurants that have something for everyone? After scouring the boards, here's what I've come up with:

Olives
Craftwich
Mesa Grill
Bejing Noodle #9
Burger Bar
Enoteca San Marco

We prefer to stay on the Strip since we're staying at the Bellagio without a car. Thanks!

P.S. If anyone knows of a place with a traditional Christmas dinner, bonus points!

I'm sure you'll get many recommendations from others here, but most of the restaurants on the strip will have special holiday menus. Fix at the Bellagio as well as Olives would most certainly please your picky eaters. And don't count the Bellagio buffet out, either as one of your options. The Bellagio at Christmas is just lovely. You won't be disapponted!

It's comforting to see others have picky eaters in their family too! In that vein, I don't know how much Enoteca San Marco will appeal to your family, as mine finds their offerings strange. (Which is too bad, because I love the place.)

Near Bellagio are the Palm and Joe's Steak and Seafood (Joe's Stone Crab) in Caesar's Forum Shops. Both are excellent for lunch and offer simply made food. (links aren't working-will try to add separately)

Based on the preferences of your husband and mother you might want to look at NobHill in the MGM. Michael Mina has tweaked the menu to focus on some "comfort classics", which has some old-school dishes being done at a very high level.
