waldy's on 28th and 6th has very good wood oven pizza. artisanal and trendy.

Right around there, I'd probably say the best one is Pizza Suprema. It's not some artisanal type of pizza that tends to be trendy these days but just a joint that sells slices. The crust is thinner and crunchier than most of the other pizza places in that area. On 8th Ave and around 30th Street.

I haven't been, but Co. isn't too far away at 9th and 24th. Many reports on this board if you do a search.
