I must have been living under a rock or something - I just heard that Patina is doing truffle dinners next week. I guess it's an annual event for them - is anyone going this year/has anyone gone before?

I called and got the menu - scallops, black cod, a pasta and venison are the savory courses. Sounds wonderful to me...

Anyone know anything more?

Went last year and was totally underwhelmed - as I have been every time I've gone to Patina since the move. However, if the price is actually $30.50 for dinner, as indicated below, even I might give it a try. (I wonder if they would forget the menu and give you a bowl of pasta with a load of truffles in it instead?)

The truffle dinner prices range from $100-$140, not the spectacular $30.50 that their other restaurants are doing up until the 30th of January. It seemed too good to be true and alas, with a little investigation on their website, it was!
