I'm aware of the following French restaurants run by Vietnamese:
La Vie on San Gabriel Blvd in Rosemead
Tai Sui also on San Gabriel Blvd in Rosement
Casablanca on Altantic in Monterey Park

But, I don't know anything about them. Can you offer some insight?

La Vie is good for affordable French. It is in a very small nondescript plaza not far from Phong Dinh. Signature dish is their rack of lamb. Each meal comes with soup and salad and good French bread.

there is a french vietnamese restaurant in monterey park called Victory Restaurant on 680 East GArvey. i haven't tried it myself, but I drive by it every day and they always seem to be busy. Let us know how it is if you go there!

btw, Casablanca closed down awhile back. There is a new vietnamese restaurant there called Pho Kym.
